We’re sharing 100 crafts to make and sell, ideas on how to make money, and where to sell your wares!

I’ve been making money with my crafts for over a decade now, and it’s definitely something you can do, too!

There are a lot of crafts out there that you can make and sell for a profit, and I’m sharing a bunch of them with you, today.

First, I’ll talk about how to make money with your crafts, places to sell your crafts, and then we’ll get into the long list of arts and crafts that make money.

Can You Make Money Crafting?

The short answer is YES!

You can absolutely make money crafting, as I, and thousands of others, have done!

It’s not a sure thing, of course, (there are other benefits of crafting that make it worth it regardless) but if you have a quality product, low costs, and there’s a demand for what you’re creating, you can absolutely make money.

How much money you can make depends on so much. There are absolutely people making a living from selling their crafts and art.

It’s probably more likely, though, that you will be able to make a modest income to supplement your “main” job.

Most crafters do not make a living with their crafts, but it’s definitely doable if that’s your goal and you’re willing to work hard enough for it!

Where to Sell Your Crafts

There are plenty of places to sell your crafts once you have enough made!

Etsy is my favorite place to sell crafts online.

They do a lot of advertising, have a huge customer base, and have reasonable fees. Just as important, the shop setup is user friendly, and there are so many resources online to help you make the most of your Etsy experience.

Society 6 is another online favorite. With Society 6, you upload your original art, and Society 6 turns it into art prints, shower curtains, mugs and so much more!

They do all the work, and take a portion of the profits. It’s an easy set-it-and-forget-it method for selling your wares.

I did a post on Etsy vs. Society 6 that you can read to learn all about the differences.

In addition to Etsy and Society 6, you can sell your crafts on eBay, Instagram, from your own website, and even craft fairs and farmers markets.

There are so many places to sell your crafts and art!

What Crafts Sell Best

This is up for interpretation, but the crafts that usually sell best are the ones that …

1) not many other people make, either because they’re specialized, use special equipment, or are hard to learn

2) are well-priced and affordable

3) are versatile! Meaning, people can buy them for various occasions and for lots of different people.

Something like a bookmark or pottery mug, for example, is something that almost anyone can use and appreciate.
